Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled NetSuite Functional Consultant –Commerce with 5+ years of experience in NetSuite ERP and SuiteCommerceimplementations to join our team. This role focuses on working closely with clients to understand their eCommerce and business process needs, translating them into effective NetSuite solutions, and ensuring smooth deployment and adoption.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in configuring SuiteCommerce solutions and ERP modules, a strong understanding of eCommerce workflows, and a collaborative approach to client engagement. This position emphasizes functional consulting, solution delivery, and driving client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Process Analysis & Solutioning
- Collaborate with clients to analyze their eCommerce, sales, inventory, and order management workflows, identifying pain points and areas for optimization.
- Document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for NetSuite Commerce solutions.
- Design and configure NetSuite SuiteCommerce (Standard or Advanced) features, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices.
- Map out core processes for commerce-focused businesses, including online storefront management, multi-channel sales, and payment workflows.
Configuration & Customization
- Configure SuiteCommerce modules, workflows, forms, and dashboards to optimize the digital commerce experience.
- Implement customizations using NetSuite SuiteFlow and SuiteBuilder to meet specific client requirements.
- Work closely with technical teams to integrate NetSuite SuiteCommerce with third-party systems, such as shipping platforms, payment gateways, and marketing tools.
Implementation Support
- Manage the functional aspects of NetSuite implementations, including requirement gathering, system configuration, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Support data migration efforts, ensuring accurate mapping and integrity of data related to customers, inventory, and transactions.
- Lead client-facing workshops and training sessions to ensure successful adoption and understanding of NetSuite Commerce functionalities.
Post-Implementation & Ongoing Support
- Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting issues, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Assist in the development of reporting tools to provide clients with actionable insights into their commerce operations, including sales trends, order accuracy, and customer engagement.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their commerce needs.
- Provide recommendations for process enhancements, system optimizations, and future scalability based on client goals and market trends.
Required Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience implementing and configuring NetSuite ERP and Suite Commerce.
- Hands-on experience with Suite Commerce Advanced (SCA) or Suite Commerce Standard implementations.
- Proven expertise in eCommerce business processes such as order management, payment workflows, inventory control, and online storefront operations.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong proficiency in Suite Commerce configurations, including site management, product catalogs, shopping cart, and checkout processes.
- Familiarity with NetSuite ERP modules like WMS (Warehouse Management System), SCM (Supply Chain Management), and Financials.
- Knowledge of SuiteFlow for workflow automation and Suite Analytics for reporting.
- Understanding of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) as applied to SuiteCommerce functionality.
- Experience integrating SuiteCommerce with third-party tools like shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx, ShipStation) and payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
